Abstract

A new facility for pressing a briquette of the battery NLC – 0.9 positive electrodes is developed.

In contrast to the existing construction the new design allows a release of compressed briquettes

without removing the matrix from the base. This emprovement is necessary to automate the process

of pressing briquettes, which is scheduled to implement at the Novosibirsk plant of radio

components "Oksid". Strength calculations were made in the course of developing the facility and

sizes of facility elements with the necessary accuracy requirements were determined. Calculations

were made based on the properties of the materials used. To obtain the necessary construction

rigidity with regard to changes in the volume of a pressed powder, an increase in the matrix height

is provided for.
