Abstract

The process of thin-walled metal product manufacturing based on the activation of contact

friction forces by rotating the ejector (the matrix bottom) intensifies the flow of metal in the

deformation zone. Using the principle of minimum full deformation energy, qualitative

dependences of the deforming force using various schemes of contact force activation and various

friction values of the workpiece wall thickness were obtained. The use of the ejector with radial

wave troughs at its end strengthens the effect of contact friction force activation and significantly

improves the quality of products.
