Abstract
Dispensable patterns used in special kinds of casting may be obtained by polymeric powder
pressing. Such pressings are characterized by extra dimensional and geometric accuracy. Their
surface roughness is determined by the parameters of shape-generating parts of the matrix in which
the pressings were produced. Various fractions and compositions of polymeric powders which
provide different physical and mechanical properties of pressings were used to manufacture the
pressings. These differences are provided by elastic aftereffects of the pressed powder material.
