Таким образом, по результатам исследования можно сделать вывод, что применение

цилиндрического анода более эффективно с точки зрения равномерности покрытия, при этом

изготовление его сложнее, нежели две плоских пластины. Результаты компьютерного

моделирования позволили определить лучшие геометрические характеристики оснастки,

обеспечивающие требуемые геометрические параметры качества гальванического хромового

покрытия детали «Кулак» и, как следствие, обеспечить необходимый ресурс работы узла

передней подвески автомобиля УАЗ.

Abstract

The results of computational simulation of chrome coating formation are presented in the paper.

Complex shape parts, for example a steering knuckle, were taken as objects of study. Coating

deposition was performed by immersion. Optimal modes for the chrome coating process were

chosen. Based on these modes the influence of the anode equipment design on the distribution of

current lines over the part surface as well as on the formed coating thickness was studied. Two

types of anode equipment used in chromium-plating of such parts are described in the paper: a

cylindrical anode placed in alignment with the part, and two segment anodes placed on the sides.

Computer models of coating thickness distribution over the part surface for the above anodes under

identical electrolysis conditions are developed. Advantages and disadvantages of both anode

devices were identified during the study. The results obtained make it possible to estimate the

coating thickness deviation in different areas of the cathode and to determine the anode optimal

structure to solve the problem of increasing the service life of the steering knuckle – ferrule friction

unit.
