Abstract
The influence of using carbon-fluorine containing additives and nickel on the microstructure,
volume fraction of residual austenite, hardness and abrasive wear of deposited layers, a
microhardness of martensite cored wire 25Х5ФМС. The introduction of carbon-fluorine containing
additives reduces the level of oxide non-metallic inclusions and eliminates ferritic component,
without changing the level of dispersion and microhardness of martensite increases the hardness
and reduces abrasive wear of weld layers. Introduction to the composition of the wire of nickel
refines the grain of austenite, contributes to the formation of fine carbides, reduces the rate of
abrasion of the deposited layer, and also increases the microhardness of martensite and the hardness
of the deposited layer, which should lead to increased thermal rolls.
