Abstract

A technique for measuring drive power losses of the main turning lathe motion and the

calculation of its efficiency are considered. In addition, analog-to-digital converters equipped with a

set of sensors to measure the necessary parameters to be then transmitted to a computer is proposed

instead of pointer-type instruments usually used in laboratory facilities. This will improve the

accuracy and reliability of measurements as well as significantly reduce the complexity of data

processing.
