Abstract

Specific features of welding and surfacing by a flux cored wire of worn-out part surface are

considered in the paper. Specific features of metal melting and transfer during welding and

surfacing by a flux cored wire and the influence of the core composition, the mode of welding and

the structure of a flux cored wire are described. The efficiency of molten metal protection and

technological parameters of flux cored welding are determined by simultaneous melting of a metal

jacket and the powder core. Technological recommendations on the elimination of negative

phenomena in the process of flux cored wire welding are provided.
