Abstract

Pneumatic machines of vibropercussion action are more widely used for pipelaying, especially,

in the conditions of dense city building. It is experimentally proved that increase of pipelaying

speeds requires additional power influence in the horizontal direction. Realization of such influence

by means of the winch with a pneumatic drive working from the mobile compressor is offered.

Requirements to the sizes, weight and transportation conditions of the developed winch are

formulated. The advantages of the developed equipment are: simplicity of service, fire and

explosion safety, reliability of work in the wide range of temperatures, in the conditions of dusty

and damp environment, high operation speed.
