METHODS FOR PROVIDING HOLE SHAPE ACCURACY OF THIN-WALLED BODY

Abstract

The paper is devoted to errors that affect the hole shape accuracy of thin walled body parts with

variable wall thickness. It is shown that the total deviation of the hole shape depends on thermal

deformation. In this paper a method for the technological process control which includes thermal

deformation compensation at the TP design stage using artificial neural networks is proposed.

Studies of deformations were carried out with the aid of computer modeling in the finite element

analysis system ANSYS.
