Abstract

Standard grinding wheels using their operational capabilities only partially and this deficiency is

largely linked to a lack of optimum geometry of the cutting elements of circles, that is abrasive

grains which have uncontrolled form and a chaotic orientation in a tool body. The equipment for

production of essentially new designs of grinding wheels with a controlled form and orientation of

abrasive grains is considered (devices for the form separation of abrasive grains, mixing units,

devices for orientation of grains, the equipment for pressing of grinding wheels, devices for heat

treatment implementation). Thanks to it abrasive grains with fuller return start using the potential

opportunities, thereby increasing operability of the tool in general.
