Abstract

The extrusion is made of low carbon structural steel. Conducted mechanical tensile test of

samples and determined the mechanical properties of Fe360 steel in the initial state and after

extrusion. A study of failure mechanism of steel in the initial and hardened state at positive and low

temperatures. It is shown that the strength of steel Fe360 after extrusion is increased in 1,5...2 times,

while the plasticity decreases in 2,5 times. As a result of the structure refinement in extrusion 673 K

does not change the viscous mechanism of destruction in uniaxial sample tension, including at 213

K is established.
